Thanks everyone! Yes, I did make it (it's my favorite!). The top and belt are brown matte pleather that I cut into triangles and darted for cups (takes some trial and error to get the right size-so use some cheap fabric or pattern paper first, though somewhere I did the math for the cup size). Then I cut a band of the same fabric for the band around the bottom. Here's the fun part: on the top and sides of my newly sewn top, I added D-rings (available at your local hardware store) so that I could crisscross the straps through it, taking the strain off my neck. It also makes for a super sexy look. I'll try to find a pic of the rings/crisscross somewhere. The decorations are mirrors from my banjara veil, shell buttons, turkoman buttons, turquoise chip beads, shell spike beads and the centerpiece is a peruvian necklace. Whew! The belt (work in progress) has the same materials in it with the addition of metal spikes.

The brown skirt is actually from a salsa shop in Atlanta (dance and club clothing). Pretty simple to make--a stretchy short tube skirt with ~7-8 petal shaped pieces sewn on at an angle. Looks awesome when you spin!
