thanks for all the comments. The layers (on bottom, which is what I'm assuming Christina is asking about) are:

and my own SHHHH belt design inspired by Mardi Love's creations. I started making them a few years ago for a big art choreo we did called Oya (pics in this gallery, I think--and certainly on our website www.nomadictribal.com) , and they've grown from there.
