Rya in her new DD AngelDMort hatler

Took me a while, but I did finally get the DD halter on someone who would let me get a pic! Rya brought me some faux leather and I altered the DD pattern I'd made for the previous (much less busty than Rya here) and I think it came out pretty nicely. I also think it will be MUCH easier in regular fabric!
I love sewing for this chick - she is always so enthusiastic about the results!

Love it! I am a (natural) 32DD - which is a nearly impossible size to find even in conventional bras. For this style, for those of us older dancers who like things held in so they don't move too much - what's the lining like? For me, side support and uplift are always a problem. Are you doing this with seaming or a sewn in bra insert? Also - how is pressure alleviated from the neck?

Thank you for the comments :-D The lining was made from some extra Kona cotton that I had. It's sooooo comfortable. I wore it home after she finished it! lol I had no pressure on my neck at all. I hate the divet that's created when my neck is suppose to hold those puppies up! This halter sits comfortable below my neck. It stays in place by tying a knot in the back. There is no bra sewn in anywhere. It's all fabric. It's the darts that create the cup.
