I'm tired of Jo-ann, etc.
I've been looking near and far in Portland with little luck
Are there any websites or places in the Portland/Seattle area that has some interesting fabric.

Re: Looking for fabric sources
Tue, May 13, 2008 - 6:25 PMI dunno the Pacific Fabrics in Northgate has some fun (and expensive) stuff and the outlet Pacific Fabrics down in the SoDo district of Seattle can get in some fun stuff.
If you want to go to more heavier cottons, brocades, and tapestry we have 2 Calico Corners (Bellevue and Mill Creek) with nice home dec selections but again PRICEY! But occasionally you can find remnants.
AND if anyone's in Woodinville on the 24th I'll have fabrics for cheap at the show "Designer and Supply Distaster", at the IUOE Union Hall: 18701 120th Ave NE, Bothell 98011 -

Wed, May 14, 2008 - 6:25 AMerika...lol. I think a cold shower would help. hehe.
Muse: Have you been to Fabrics and Rugs for Less? (6940 Ne Sandy Boulevard) They don't generally have a lot of cotton, but they have a TON of great costume material. Their silk dupioni is only $12 a yard for 62" rolls. Unheard of, as far as I've seen. It's one of the places that makes me miss PDX like nobody's business.
