Hi,
I'm working on a warrior woman bellydance fusion performance and I want a brown leather halter bra. Does anyone know of artists who make them? I've tried etsy and ebay to no avail.
Thanks!

Hmm...there was a thread somewhere that someone had posted a site with some kickin' leather pieces...but I have no clue where it would be at...

    Anyone else able to remember?

try this shop. Her name is Connie here on tribe and she works with leather a bit. Some decent priced leather vests too.
      Good luck.

Thanks for the mention, yes, I would love to try my hand, I would probably cover an existing bra with strips rather than make one from scratch for many reasons, one being that leather tends to stretch and you would lose support over time and use.All sorts of decortions are possible!
Send me a note here or at lawrance2@iowatelecom.net and we can talk.

I love a challenge and it's very hot here so I could use an excuse to stay inside!
        take care,
        Connie

You could always just make your own... working with leather is really not that difficult, but it is a little bit tedious and time-consuming because you have to poke the holes in the leather by hand before you sew them (with wax thread) if you don't have a super-amazing sewing machine. You'd need a hole-punch, a big needle (like a "basket needle", they're about two-three inches long) and wax thread, and you can buy leather online for pretty cheap if you look, or at most western supply and clothing stores.

I go to the Colorado Renaissance Festival with the Barbarians every year - I love working with leather! I'm working on a barbarian bellydancer costume to wear, since nobody else wears that kind of stuff there. Hahaha. :D

Good luck on your search! :)
