It is Native American- Navajo. The large center piece is called a Naja. The smaller findings on either side are Squash Blossoms. Is this an authentic signed piece? If so, it is probably done in sterling silver. The fact that it is connected with chain and not sterling beads at the closure end of the necklace leads me to believe that it is a contemporary (1960 to present) piece. That would have made the piece more cost effective. Earlier pieces are finished with hand domed and soldered hollow beads. Time consuming, and costly materials.
